Vaccine Injury Deadlines are Short – Don’t Delay.

Vaccine Injury Statute of Limitations

Sometimes deadlines don’t matter. And there are times when they are deadly serious.

The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program was setup by Congress to compensate those who have been injured as a result of a vaccine. Which vaccines? Some include the flu vaccine, Tdap, Dtap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Gardasil, Rotavirus and other vaccines.

It is a no-fault program, you don’t have to prove that another party did something in error, you simply have to prove that the vaccine caused your injury. What are some of the injuries? Guillain’-Barre Syndrome (GBS), Shoulder Injuries (SIRVA), Transverse Myelitis and many others.

The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program does have an important deadline. The Vaccine Injury Petition must be filed in the United States Court of Federal Claims (Vaccine Court) within three (3) years of the onset of the symptoms or within two (2) years of death.

The deadlines cannot be extended. Beyond these dates, the vaccine claim cannot befiled.

At least twice a week, our office of vaccine injury attorneys at Gold Law Firm, LLC., received calls from those who may have a valid vaccine injury claim but the deadline has already passed.
