Compensation Paid for Vaccine Injuries thru September 2016

The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program assists those injured by a vaccine.

The most common vaccine injuries come from the influenza (flu vaccine). This is primarily due to the fact that it’s the most administered vaccine, by a factor of almost 8.

Some of the most common side effects are Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome (GBS), Transverse Myelitis, Chronic Arthritis, Shoulder Injuries Related to Vaccine Administration (SIRVA)

According to the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which administers the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) “In the majority of cases, vaccines cause no side effects, however they can occur, as with any medication—but most are mild. Very rarely, people experience more serious side effects, like allergic reactions. “

Please see this link to a breakdown of what vaccines resulted in vaccine compensation since the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program’s inception.

As you may be aware, vaccine injury attorney’s fees are paid by the vaccine injury program and not by the client (the “Petitioner”). The Petitioner receives 100% of any award that is made. Vaccine Injury Law Firms receive none of the award of compensation and their fees are paid, if any, directly from the Program.
