He then went on to lose motor and breathing control and needed to be intubated to help with his breathing. He was quickly diagnosed with Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome (GBS) and spent more than six (6) months in the hospital and in rehabilitation centers, learning to breathe, walk and eat on his own. He has made a remarkable, yet incomplete recovery. Guillain-Barre and other reactions are continually reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) as occuring after the Flu Vaccine.
